I have the honour to state that I am a student of class IX of your school. On 9th instant, while I was returning home from school, I got wet in a sudden rain and caught a cold. Later, I had a fever and a severe cough that night. As a result, I could not come to school from the 10th to the 12th instant.
I, therefore, would earnestly request you to grant me the leave of absence for those day's only and oblige thereby.
