Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi pays obeisance at the Orakandi Harichand temple in Kashiani Upazila of Gopalganj. Today, at half-past one on Saturday, he worshipped there.

He later spoke to members of the Thakur family and representatives of Matua.

Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at Jessoreeshwari Kali Temple in Satkhira around 10.10am today. At 9.55 am, the helicopter carrying him landed at the helipad in Eshwaripur. From there he went to the Kali Temple.

Earlier, Narendra Modi paid floral tributes at the mausoleum of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at 11.38 pm. He reached the helipad adjacent to Bangabandhu's mausoleum complex in Tungipara at 11.25pm by helicopter from Satkhira. From there, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina welcomed Narendra Modi when he went to the second gate of the Bangabandhu Mausoleum. The Prime Minister of India then paid floral tributes at Bangabandhu's mausoleum.

Narendra Modi will return to Dhaka today. He will have formal discussions with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at his office in the afternoon. From there, Narendra Modi will visit Banga Bhavan. In the evening, President Md. The Prime Minister of India will leave Dhaka after a courtesy call on Abdul Hamid.

Modi is making his first foreign visit since the start of the Corona epidemic. And this is Modi's second visit to Dhaka as the Prime Minister of India. Modi had earlier visited Dhaka in June 2015 to attend a summit with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
